Why do people hate blacks?  Why do people kill the blacks?  These questions can’t be answered without a good answer.  Is “Because he’s/she’s black” a good reason for killing them.

In Maycomb County it is okay to try to kill them, or send them to jail because a white person said they raped them.

I was in a window nearby.  Atticus Finch was sitting alone protecting Tom Robinson. A group of men come to kill Tom Robinson.  Even though Atticus knew Tom would lose in court, he still defended him.

Saturday night Tom was moved to the Maycomb county jail.   Sunday was when Atticus found Tom was moved to Maycomb jail.  When he first heard he drove to the jail.  He doesn’t use the car for short distances, only long.

 

 

 

Why is it okay to kill them and get away with it?  The court system is so biases towards the white.  The founding fathers said every man was created equal, that statement can’t be true until we start treating blacks like white.

If we can treat blacks like white, and stop killing and beating them.  If we want to believe all men are created equal. A man who was accused of rape.  Atticus and his kids were being called “nigger-lovers” because Atticus was defending a black in court.

In reality Atticus, Jem, and Scout were the good people in the Maycomb County society.     They are not racist and treat everyone like they were created equal, but regardless of the society around them,  they still ignore the racism around them.

I believe Tom should get his day in court to tell his side of the story.  It’s not fair for someone to be killed because someone said they raped them.  If they didn’t, then they should be able to tell their side.
